Mr. Dao Dinh Kha

Mr. Dao Dinh Kha received the B.S. degree in applied mathematics in Soviet Union, the M.E. and Dr. Eng. degrees in Information Science in Japan in 1987, 2001 and 2004, respectively. From April 2004 to March 2005, he was with Information Technology Center of Nagoya University (Japan) as a post-doctoral fellow in the Intelligent Media Integration (IMI) for Social Information Infrastructure project of a COE program. He joined Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam in August 2005. From June 2008 to September 2014, he was the Director of the National Center of Digital Signature Authentication that operates the National Root Certification Authority and performs a various activities in PKI management. Since October 2014, he is the Director of the National Electronic Authentication Centre (NEAC) that is a body belonging to the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam. NEAC is in charge of the development of the information security infrastructure for electronic transactions, including digital signature and authentication services. His current professional interests include the technical and legal aspects of PKI implementation, digital signature application models, electronic authentication models, as well as government information management.
