Anders Tornqvist has over 25 years of experience in the area of Computer Software and Information Security. Anders is the proprietor of Comfact AB – an organization that delivers products and services aimed to improve business efficiency, mainly in the area of electronic business communication. Comfact specializes in digital signatures and secure document handling. The focus of the company is basically all aspects of the EU Regulation called eIDAS.

Anders is not only a vendor but also an inventor. Applying the wealth of knowledge he gathered from his intensive industry experience, Anders invented a ‘method and computer system for ensuring authenticity of an electronic transaction’, which was patented by the World Intellectual Property Organization in 2008.

He has been involved in the standardization of electronic business communication for a long time in organizations such as ISO, UN/CEFACT, OMG, CEN and is now focusing his efforts within ETSI.

He is also an expert evaluator of EU research proposals in the Horizon 2020 program in areas such as Big Data, Ethical Issues and Linked Open Data.
