Mr Philip Leung Kwong-hon

Mr Philip LEUNG Kwong-hon is currently the Director of Information Technology Services at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), where he is responsible for planning, development and deployment of information and communication technology and services. He has been active in serving the community in different aspects. He is committed to promoting and enhancing the protection of consumer interests in his capacity of the Vice-Chairman of the Consumer Council in Hong Kong since 2013 and member from 2007 to 2012.
Mr Leung has been elected as Chairman of Hong Kong PKI Forum and Asia PKI Consortium (both in 2013-14 and 2015-16), being respectively the local non-profit industry organization and regional collaborative organization to promote the public awareness, industry adoption and interoperability among countries/economies in the Asia/Oceania Region of public key infrastructure (“PKI”) products and services for secure e-commerce and protection of intellectual properties.
Serving the community at large, Mr Leung is chairing the Programme Advisory Committee, Internet Learning Support Programme (ILSP) for The Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong, serving as a member of CLP Eco Building Funding Vetting Committee, and has served as a member of Radio Television Hong Kong Programme Advisory Panel since 2000.
In 1989, he was appointed by International Labour Organization as Specialist in Computer Application, responsible for technology transfer and personnel training in a number of UNDP projects in China. Mr Leung received his Bachelor of Business Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and MA in Communication from Hong Kong Baptist University.
